You want to put a background and music in your
signature of your e-mail! You have the urls for the
background and the music and you have read the
tutorial. You have worked hard to put all this in your signature. You tried sending yourself an e-mail using
html....and... it don't
work! ;-(
...now what????!~
Check to
see if you have made any of these mistakes.
Listed below are some of the most common mistakes people make using html:
- openingtap: Double check and make sure it
is the first thing you have written in your e-mail
signature box.Make sure there is nothing before
it.not even a single space! or else your codes won't
work.
- spelling: The most common mistakes with spelling
are:scr..instead of src and herf..instead of href. You get the idea!~
- spacing: When using the url for an
image, background,or midi file..there are no spaces.
- case sensitive: some urls are case
sensitive, meaning you must type them exactly
as as shown. The best way not to make this mistake i
to cut and paste the urls.
My biggest mistake is forgetting to put the < at the
begaining of my codes ;-)
Keep practicing by sending e-mails to yourself
or you can use a word processor. This one is my
favorite; Virtual Xone
